Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct vehicle level testing of new advanced autonomous/connected systems.
  • Work with Advanced Engineering project teams to plan and execute test plans for different levels of new autonomous systems.
  • As part of the project team, provide vehicle and system level expertise to develop project performance during the vehicle testing phase.
  • Evaluate vehicle level performance data and generate project reports and recommendations.
  1. Develop test plans to accomplish R&D project objectives with engineering team.

Investigate and develop new test methods as needed for verifying autonomous vehicle technologies.


Skill Sets:

Matlab, Simulink, System architecture, CAN, Java, mechatronics, sensors, actuators, ADAS, controller, autobox, dspace, C++, Model Based Development, IGVC, vehicle, V2X, V2V, connected vehicle. Automated Emergency Braking, Steer-by-wire, Vehicle Build, Vehicle test, Diadem, Data Analysis, Vehicle Test, Manager, DGPS, vehicle target, prototype, instrumentation, technicians, Autonomous, ADAS, vehicle target, pedestrian, performance test, performance evaluation, fabrication,



  • 4+ years of vehicle test related experience including:
    • Instrumenting and measuring vehicle dynamic performance (braking & steering)
    • ADAS or active safety vehicle level testing
    • Test plan development
